The aim of this course is to examine the impacts of colonisation, subsequent social movements, government responses, and contemporary hapū and iwi developments. . Students will consider this learning in relation to their developing practice in Aotearoa and will also extend their understanding of te ao Māori through the continued application of te reo and tikanga Māori.
