BSK716 Social Work Practice in Specialist Fields

The aim of this course is for students to develop specialist knowledge in fields of social work practice by defining and critically examining these fields of practice. Students will critically evaluate a particular field of practice of their choice and interest. The skills learnt in this course will reflect students’ ability to develop an integrated approach to practice, reflecting the changing nature of social work in Aotearoa New Zealand society.
