CIC414 Foliar Browse Index

To teach students to identify and quantify the extent of pest (usually possum) foliar browsing in a forest. Students will be taught how to follow the Department of Conservation Foliar Browse Index (FBI) protocol, establish consistent data collection, recording and storage. Students will also be taught how to make the data available for analysis, reporting and subsequent business planning within the required timeframe.
